Ms. Hailey Brown
Greystone Golf & Country Club
4100 Greystone Drive
Birmingham, Alabama 35242

November 3, 2025

Dear Ms. Brown,

I am excited to apply for the Hospitality Internship Program at Greystone Golf & Country Club. Given the
opportunity, I am eager to learn about various operations of a luxury country club. I have applicable experience
through Auburn University’s Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management program, as well as previous jobs in
the food service industry. Last semester, I was fortunate to be selected from the Auburn program to work 10 days
at The Master’s Tournament in Augusta. Also, as part of my Food Production and Service class, I worked in the
Auburn University Wellness Kitchen in the Auburn Athletics Complex and 1856-Culinary Residence. My previous
internship position was in food production with Xanterra, while working in Grants Village in Yellowstone National
Park. This past summer I continued my internship program with Florida University, working at 4-H Camp
Timpoochee in kitchen operations. I believe this experience has prepared me for a position with Greystone Golf &
Country Club.

In April of 2025, I had the unique experience of working at The Master’s Tournament in the premium patron
experience called Map and Flag. My position required 10-hour days that included prepping seafood, preparing their
signature pimento hushpuppies, and assembly of lobster rolls. Last semester my Food Production course included
preparing menu choice food items for student athletes to meet the objective of aiding in the preparation and
recovery for student-athletes. At 1856-Culinary Residence, my class requirements included back of house
responsibilities along with assisting with purchasing and receiving. At Yellowstone my responsibilities at Grant’s
Village included preparing food items for a breakfast buffet and maintaining the buffet though the breakfast hours.
In this position I would begin preparing food at 5 a.m. and would prepare breakfast meats and eggs, as well as
cutting fruit to feed guests each morning. This past summer at Camp Timpochee, my responsibilities included
preparation of three meals a day for over 200 camp residents and staff. Each of these positions require working in a
team environment and preparing quality food items within strict time constraints.

My experience in food service, particularly with group food production, has provided me with the applicable
experience for a position with Greystone Golf & Country Club. This position serves as internship hours for my
degree program as well as valuable experience in the high-end, luxury hospitality industry. This provides significant
motivation for me to exceed your expectations for the position. Thank you for considering my application. I look
forward to discussing my qualifications with you further.

Sincerely,

Brayden Feemster
